Attention all New York artists living and working in converted industrial studios: New York City Loft Tenants has begun hosting a bimonthly housing clinic. The open sessions are happening the first and third Monday of every month — that’s today! — at Brooklyn Rod & Gun Club at 7 pm EST, and are meant to help tenants answer any questions they have about the Loft Law. For those unfamiliar with it, the Loft Law protects the rights and residences of people living in illegally converted industrial buildings, which essentially means a whole lot of Brooklyn artists.

The clinic alternates between general sessions, on the first Monday of the month, and ones with visiting specialists, on the third. Tonight’s guest is tenants rights lawyer David Frazer.

The Loft Law Housing Clinic takes place tonight — and every first and third Monday of the month — at Brooklyn Rod & Gun Club (59 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn), from 7 to 9 pm.
