Christmas, Hanukkah, Coogi, there were sweaters of all kinds. And while we had prizes (zines, bag, graphic novels, original art …) for the top five sweaters (as determined by audience applause), there could only be one “winner” and that was Sarah Trigg, who rocked it with her elfs climbing a Christmas abomination, er, we mean masterpiece.
We were proud to co-host this zany holiday event with the Museum of Chinese in America and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and thank you to everyone who came out. All the proceeds from the event will benefit, CAAAV, which played a pivotal role in organizing hundreds of volunteers in Chinatown during Hurricane Sandy.
