  1. Right on the nose, every time. One of my figure drawing teachers added, “Never make art while under the influence of something. Years later, you’ll find that you’ve used it as a crutch, and can no longer make without it.”

  2. Missing piece of advice: Don’t bother going to grad school. You’ll be choking enough on debt from undergrad for the rest of your miserable life.

  3. Oh my God…speaking from experience art school was a great example of what not to do. It’s true youth is wasted on the young! Great cartoon!
