  1. Why does everyone these days insist on pretending there’s no difference between “there is” and “there are”? That headline should be “There’re always going to be those questions.”

    1. Some writing mimics language, the way people speak. I laugh at Whole Foods, where they write “10 Items or Fewer.” Snobs.
