Please join Melissa Gira Grant and Joanne McNeil for an evening of personal stories about the Internet of long ago. The years of  BBS, IRC, ICQ, MUDs, Mosaic, Usenet, Fidonet, Telnet, dot matrix printers, 28.8k modems, and saving those AOL startup disks until they broke in two.

Katie Baker shares the lies she told and the trouble she caused on hockey Usenet boards from her high school dorm room in the late ’90’s.

Eric Mortensen (,
After managing multiple BBSes and running the local BBS phone number list, Eric Mortensen wanted Internet. He would do anything to get some. In a farm town in the mid 1990’s, that was no small task.
