Frieze New York will be housed in a structure designed by Brooklyn-based SO-IL Architects. The design for the structure will be released in January. [SO-IL](http://so-il.org/?ref=hyperallergic.com) is best remembered in New York’s art world for their “[Pole Dance](https://hyperallergic.com/ps1-pole-dance/)” (2010) installation at PS1 last year. Frieze New York will include participating galleries from 18 countries, including India, South Africa and the UAE. Their growing list\\ already has 160+ participating galleries in all the sections of the fair, including New York’s 303 Gallery, Hauser + Wirth, Bartolami, Mitchell-Innes & Nash, Lehmann Maupin, Mariane Goodman, Marianne Boesky, Sean Kelly, Sikkema Jenkins, Metro Picture, Cheim & Read, David Zwirner, Elizabeth Dee and dozens of others. In terms of international galleries, the list includes London’s White Cube, Paris’s Yvon Lambert, Copenhagen’s Nicolai Wallner and Beijing’s Long March Space.
