Tim McCool let us know that when he saw this building in his hometown of Pittsburgh he thought it would be a perfect fit for a standard envelope … and our call for mail art.
McCool is no stranger to Hyperallergic, he designed a great digital wallpaper for us last year and we published his hilarious “Artists Go Hollywood” poster around the same time.
For his contribution to the Mail Art Bulletin, he created a great line drawing of a narrow house — I’m guessing early 20th C. — he spotted and added some beautiful watercolor color, which makes the image pop.
This isn’t McCool’s first foray into mail art, check out another project he did a few years ago.
Thanks for adding your voice to the Mail Art Bulletin, Tim!
