ICPNY’s Two-Day Print Fest Opens This Friday

PRINTFEST: OCTOBER 16–17, 2015

International Print Center New York‘s Print Fest, a two-day print showcase featuring undergraduate and graduate art students from the New York area, begins this Friday, October 16. PrintFest will take place at 508 West 26th Street, 9th Floor, from 3–8pm on Friday, October 16, and 12–6pm on Saturday, October 17. The event will be free and open to the public. Each school will have a table for students to show, sell, and trade prints.

Participating institutions include: City College of New York, Columbia University, the Cooper Union, Fashion Institute of Technology, Hunter College, New York Academy of Art, New York University, Parsons the New School for Design, Pratt Institute, Rutgers University, School of Visual Arts (SVA), and SUNY Purchase College.

About ICPNY:

Conceived to be the first and only non-profit exhibition space, resource, and learning center devoted solely to artists’ prints, serving the needs of artists, printmakers, educators, publishers, students, collectors, and the general viewing public. It offers exhibition opportunities for contemporary artists through its New Prints Program, which inaugurated the comprehensive program of exhibitions embracing all time periods and cultures, launched in 2000 with Hard Pressed at AXA Gallery, and continuing today through our international and thematic exhibitions series.
