Your day in architectural GIFs: this home, designed by Polish architecture firm KWK Promes, transforms from luxury villa into tightly sealed black box, the ultimate safe house. The “Safe House”, completed in 2009, would be the ultimate for any Bond villain.

The house, located in Warsaw, was designed for a family “top priority was to gain the feeling of maximum security in their future house,” writes the firm. It kind of goes without saying given the GIF above, in which the living house goes from a perforated glass box with a concrete shell to tightly sealed architectural armor. It looks like there’s not even a crack left open when the house closes up.
