The graduate Graphic Design, Painting/Printmaking, Photography, and Sculpture students are pleased to welcome you into their studios from 12–6 pm on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd, 2016. A shuttle service will run every 15 minutes from New Haven’s Union Train Station to the Yale School of Art. A closing reception will take place Sunday, April 3rd after 6pm outside the Edgewood Sculpture building.
The Yale School of Art is founded on the belief that art is a fundamental force in national and international culture. One of the primary standards by which societies are judged is the quality, creative freedom, critical insight, and formal and technical innovations of the visual art they produce. Come explore the studios and work of the graduate students at Yale University to see each individual’s approach to what it means to be thinking critically in a visual form in 2016.
