On Saturday, September 17, Pratt Institute invites you to enjoy a day of festivities that will include an alumni exhibition showcasing the work of more than 65 graduates in galleries across Pratt’s Brooklyn campus. The day will also feature a conversation with alumnus and acclaimed artist and author Kadir Nelson, followed by a book signing. Events are free and open to the public.

The title of the exhibition suggests the artists’ varied and diverse artistic methods and points of view. Piece by Piece constructs a larger assembly of contemporary meaning and the artist’s collective acuity concerning the world in which we live.
