The graduate programs at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) offer students a transformational experience in a rigorous and supportive learning environment. PAFA’s curriculum is interdisciplinary and focuses on individual studio practice. The outstanding faculty provides a broad range of viewpoints and approaches to art-making.

The student-run Visiting Artist Program brings leading artists to PAFA’s campus to discuss their work and meet with students. A large and diverse body of fellow student artists forms a dynamic and engaged peer group.

All graduate students enroll in studio and seminar courses, engage in independent studio work, and have regular individual and group critiques with faculty.

PAFA’s museum hosts world-class exhibitions and a renowned collection of American art. The Annual Student Exhibition attracts over 10,000 members of the arts community.
