Tyler School of Art, Temple University

The Tyler School of Art, Temple University is now accepting applications for its Summer Painting and Sculpture Intensive.

  • Weekly visiting artists and seminars
  • Frequent trips to artist’s studios and galleries in New York and Philadelphia
  • Regular large group critiques
  • Tons of studio time!

The program is a non-credit, post-baccalaureate-style residency suitable for BA and BFA seniors and recent graduates aiming to hone their artistic and intellectual skills, for students building a portfolio for application to graduate school, as well as professional artists seeking to strengthen their abilities.

Recent visiting artists and critics include: Joanne Greenbaum, Polly Apfelbaum, Saul Ostrow, Gregory Volk, R.H. Quaytman, James Hyde, Joe Bradley, Keltie Ferris, Daniel Hesidence, Carrie Moyer, Dona Nelson, Odili Odita and many others.
