Though we’ve seen a proliferation of zine fairs in recent years, there can never really be too many. The Zinister Zine Fair is a one-night-only event happening on March 16 at the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance (BAAD) during its annual BAAD!ASS Women Festival. With, as of this writing, more than than 20 artists, collectives, presses, and zine-makers signed up to participate — including the indie zine-makers 3 Dot Zine, Neta Zine, The Felt, and The Coalition, the artists Catherine Feliz and Margot Terc, and more — the fair privileges works made by and for people of color and LGBTQ individuals.

Co-organized by the Washington Heights–based Dominican Women’s Development Center, the fair will also feature an open mic and a zine-making table for those who are struck with inspiration and want to start cutting, pasting, and self-publishing immediately.

Look what we got for #zinister zine fair! We are in love with these gems sent to us by @neta_zine ?
