Fellowships are available for Moore College of Art & Design’s studio-based MFA in Socially-Engaged Studio Art or MA in Socially-Engaged Art. At Moore you will experience a strong sense of community in an intimate, interdisciplinary environment and develop the knowledge and skills for making art with people and creating work in the studio that will activate audiences. Moore brings you out of the studio for illuminating shared experiences with student colleagues and professionally active faculty who’ll provide a wide range of voices.

What differentiates Moore’s Socially-Engaged Art programs from similar ones?  A curriculum that equally emphasizes meaningful assessment in the school context with professional practice skills for life after school. Moore’s strong emphasis on skills from making powerful images to research skills and writing will equip you to be an effective artist in the studio and in the community.

Moore prepares you for a life-long career in the arts. Higher Education Professor, Social Entrepreneur, Curator, Public Arts Administrator, Teaching Artist or Executive, Artistic or Public Engagement Director with an arts organization are examples of jobs you may want to pursue upon graduation.

Through classes, public programs, community partnerships, symposia and the work of Moore’s renowned students and faculty, we are in the world, asking challenging questions together.

Apply by February 1 for free at moore.edu/gradsea.
