On the occasion of the Ellsworth Kelly: Prints and Drawings exhibition, which opened last month at the LA Country Museum of Art (LACMA), the museum has posted a four-minute segment from a longer conversation between the artist and curators Stephanie Barron and Britt Salvesen. This is a small jewel of a video (though the lighting could have been a little better).
It’s always lovely to hear an accomplished artist reflect back on his or her life and work. In the video, Kelly says the current LA show is one of “the best exhibitions he’s ever had.”
The show continues until April 22.
