Graffiti Writer “Bombs” Brooklyn Bridge

Graff blog 12oz Prophet calls it “one of the most legendary spots in the history of graffiti,” so when Lewy BTM got up — 119-feet up, to be exact — on New York’s Brooklyn Bridge on Tuesday night it definitely attracted attention.

The graffiti, according to Gothamist, got promptly buffed, but Animal NY called the Department of Transportation to confirm that this was indeed real and not a case of Photoshop. It’s worth noting that the Brooklyn Bridge is a National Historic Landmark, so don’t be surprised if the FBI get involved in this case.

Love it or hate it, you have to at least appreciate Lewy’s sense of symmetry.
