Williamsburg’s Momenta Art is an artist-run non-profit gallery that provides opportunities for underrepresented and emerging artists and is committed to organizing shows that are critically, socially, and aesthetically aware.

Momenta’s recent solo shows of Seher Shah, Mira Schor, Hunter Reynolds, and collaborative projects including work by George Porcari, Jorge Pardo, and Naomi Fisher, are testaments to the quality of artists exhibited by Momenta regularly.

On May 26, 2010, Momenta Art will host its 15th annual benefit at White Columns Gallery in Chelsea to support its mission.

Tickets for this event are on sale now for $175 ($225 after April 30th) and each ticket guarantees you an artwork from the raffle and a chance to bid in the silent auction. (Tickets are limited to the number of raffle artworks.)

Momenta’s 2010 benefit will present work by both emerging and established artists and will be on exhibit at Momenta (359 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11211) from April 30 – May 22.
