Hyperallergic endorsed US President Barack Obama a few weeks ago, and we’re happy to report that the Democratic nominee has been elected to a second term today, according to NBC News, CBS News, Fox News, and CNN. This doesn’t mean you’re off the hook Mr. President, the art-loving community still expects you to deliver a more arts-friendly nonprofit, business, and educational environment so that art can thrive in America, but judging by your arts positions we believe you were always a better pick than your rival.

  1. It would be nice to see him actually stand up for the art community as whole. He has yet to do that… at least not on the scope of 2008 promises. In fact, the moment he distanced himself from Yosi Sergant and Shepard Fairey (around the time Yosi was involved with an NEA scandal) it was as if he turned his back on art.
