This fellowship will be granted to an early career artist with remarkable promise for contributing to a deeper understanding of the natural world and humankind’s place in it. The award includes a $10,000 grant and a 2–8 week stay at OSGF.

Fall 2021 Fellowships

Artist-in-Residence
Three emerging artists of African or Afro-Latinx descent working in any media will receive institutional guidance, professional development, research support, and a $20,000 stipend paid biweekly over the eleven-month residency.

2021-2022 Winder Residency Program
Applications are open for individual artists, collaborative teams, and groups of two or more opting to live together for a period of three to six months. The program also offers residencies for artists and their families.

The Kintsugi Spirit

The GIANT Company Mural Project
Artists or artist teams who have experience in public art and/or community engagement can apply to create a permanent mural in Philadelphia about food and racial justice. The total project budget is $88,000.

Session Open Call
