Over 50 works by leading street and graffiti artists are included in artnet Auctions‘s Tag Sale: Graffiti and Street Art, which is live online through February 5, 2013.

Featuring works by Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, JR, Chris Johanson, Stephen Powers, and others, the art includes works from the 1980s until today, and provides a good overview of much of the art being made by some of the best-known talents in the field. Estimates for the work ranges from US$1,500 to 120,000.

Among the unique works featured in the sale is “Blueboy” (2013), a major new painting by legendary graffiti artist Futura 2000. “Blueboy” belongs to the Wrinkle Finish series that debuted in Future Shock, Futura’s large one-man exhibition in New York last year.

Banksy, “Barely Legal / LA Set” (Portfolio of 6 Prints) (2006), screenprint on Arches paper, 22 x 29.9 in., Est. US$90,000-120,000

Another highlight of Tag Sale is a selection of signed and authenticated works by world-renowned street artist Banksy, including “Applause” (2006), “Toxic Mary” (2003), and “Barely Legal/LA Set” (2006), the remarkable six-print portfolio.

Also featured in the sale is a diverse group of paintings by Richard Hambleton, including “Shadowman” (1986), estimated at US$8,000 to 10,000, which dates from the heyday of 1980s New York graffiti scene. This work belongs to the iconic Shadowman series, for which Hambleton is best known. The black-splattered figures in this series adorned street corners and walls from Berlin to New York in the 1980s.
