On Thursday, March 14, Hyperallergic will host the release of *Anemones*, “a movement-generated theory magazine” edited by MTL Collective in Arabic and English. *Anemones* will include works that “seek to think with Palestine” about liberation, the anti-colonial struggle, and future possibilities. The magazine will cover events across Palestine, India, and the United States, exploring current movements such as Free Palestine, Standing Rock, Black Lives Matter, and more.

The publications are starting to be distributed and will be available at the event at Hyperallergic HQ

The name *Anemones* comes from a wildflower found in Palestine, Jordan, and Syria that sprouts at the end of winter to signal the beginning of a new life cycle. According to the *Anemones* editors, “they are the flower of love and beauty, legends and healing, and the flower of martyrs.”

The magazine release will kick off with a roundtable discussion with *Anemones* contributors Mahogany Browne, Kyle Goen, Paris Henderson, and Marz Saffore, moderated by Hyperallergic Editor-in-Chief Hrag Vartanian.

At the event, free copies of *Anemones* will be available, along with posters and stickers from both MTL and Decolonize This Place, which will be in attendance.
