## Accolades

**Krista Clark** and **William Downs** are the winners of the **2018 Atlanta Artadia Award**. The artists will receive $10,000 in unrestricted funds from the Brooklyn-based nonprofit, **Artadia**. \[via email announcement\]

**The** Freelands Foundation has announced that Veronica Ryan received its £100,000 (\~$129,000) award for a mid-career female artist to create a work of art on Spike Island in Bristol. \[via email announcement\]

**Daria Martin** was announced as the winner of the **2018 Film London Jarman Award**. She will receive £10,000 (\~$12,800). \[via email announcement\]

**Thao-Nguyen Phan** was awarded the **Han Nefkens Foundation** **award**. ## Opportunities

Teaching artists are invited to apply to **SU-CASA**, a **Brooklyn Arts Council** initiative. SU-CASA is a community arts engagement program that places **artists in residence** at **senior centers** across Brooklyn to positively impact the well-being of elderly adults through direct engagement with arts-based activities. Individual artists-in-residence receive a stipend of $4,500, an additional $1,000 materials/supplies budget, and access to materials and supplies. The **Art League of Long Island** is accepting applications to exhibit in its 59th Long Island Artists Exhibition. Artists residing in Suffolk and Nassau counties, Brooklyn, and Queens are invited to apply.
