This year, ICP will honor **Shahidul Alam** for Special Presentation; **Rosalind Fox Solomon** for Lifetime Achievement; **Zadie Smith** for Critical Writing and Research; **Dawoud Bey** for Art; and **Jess T. Dugan** as Emerging Photographer. \[via email announcement\] **Guadalupe Rosales** and **Hank Willis Thomas** have received the **2019** **Gordon Parks Foundation fellowships** for artists tackling representation and social justice. Each artist will receive a $20,000 grant to support a new project. \[via email announcement\] **Cindy Sherman** was awarded the **Max Beckmann Prize** for artists working in painting, graphic art, sculpture, and architecture. Artists can apply to serve as PAIRs with four City agencies: the Department for the Aging, the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, the Department of Records & Information Services, and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
