The **Brooklyn Museum** will honor visual artist **Nick Cave** at its eighth annual **Brooklyn Artists Ball** in April. \[via email announcement\]

The **Ucross** **Foundation**, an arts nonprofit in Clearmont, Wyoming, has announced the 54 artists who have been chosen for its **Spring fellowship program**. ## Opportunities

[**Women’s Center for Creative Work**](http://womenscenterforcreativework.com/eh-grant/?ref=hyperallergic.com) is awarding $60,000 in grant money for its **Emergency Health Grant** for artists. Eligible applicants must live in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino or Riverside Counties; identify as female, or trans, or non-binary, or low income, or as a person of color; and have a medical, mental health or dental emergency OR an illness-related financial need.
