Eugene Gargaro
Eugene A. Gargaro, Jr. is a Detroit civic and community leader and volunteer. As chairman of the Board of Directors of the DIA since 2003, Mr. Gargaro has led the museum through a period of transition and historic transformation, including a $160 million museum expansion and renovation, the 2008 to 2011 financial crisis, the successful 2012 passage of the regional millage, and the City of Detroit 2013 to 2015 bankruptcy.
