A view from the Ann Arbor fair (via AnnArbor.com)

This brings a tear to my eye since: A. it was easy to figure out that art fair goers probably dislike Gov. Snyder, B. if more things like this happened at art fairs I would enjoy attending them more.

From [AnnArbor.com](http://www.annarbor.com/news/more-than-5000-signatures-collected-during-ann-arbor-art-fair-to-recall-gov-rick-snyder-organizers-s/?ref=hyperallergic.com):

> Washtenaw County supporters of the campaign to recall Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder are reporting they collected more than 5,000 signatures during the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
>
> Brit Satchwell, president of the Ann Arbor Education Association and one of the organizers of the effort, said the goal was to collect 4,000 to 5,000 signatures over four days, so the 150 volunteers who came out for Art Fair more than accomplished their mission.

There’s also [other](http://www.heritage.com/articles/2011/07/25/ann%5Farbor%5Fjournal/news/doc4e2dd2bbb2fa2904632737.txt?ref=hyperallergic.com) [stories](http://ethnoblog.newamericamedia.org/2011/07/borders-our-home-away-from-home-finding-ann-arbor-wherever-we-go.php?ref=hyperallergic.com) on the Michigan fair (that I’ve never heard of) but I think AnnArbor.com got the BIG story.
