The *Mercury News* is [reporting](http://www.mercurynews.com/ci%5F18971538?IADID&ref=hyperallergic.com) that the Palestinian children’s art show that was slated to be exhibited at the Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA) in Oakland, California before it was [canceled under pressure from right-wing Jewish groups](https://hyperallergic.com/museum-bows-to-pressure-from-jewish-groups-and-cancels-palestinian-childrens-art-show/) has found a new home nearby.

The newspaper quotes the executive director of Middle East Children’s Alliance, Barbara Lubin, as saying that the “artwork will be displayed in an unnamed space at 917 Washington St., a minute’s walk from the children’s museum, until Nov. 13.”

Apparently Lubin received a phone call from a MOCHA representative offering to reschedule the show for a latter date:

> “I just laughed,” she said. “I said, ‘You must be crazy; we have spent the last three weeks looking for a place to display (the artwork.) … I can’t believe you have the chutzpah (audacity) to call me at this late date.’ I have just signed a lease on a space for (an exhibit) for the next two months.”
