**Ramblings of a Wretch**

If my Grandma could see all this world has done to me…

Would she see a lazy, chicken-hearted crybaby? An invertebrate, yellow-bellied milksop?

Or would she see a suffering casualty? A preyed upon, underdog victim of circumstance? A martyr even?

More likely a backslider, sentenced for my lack of faith and partaking in the debaucheries of Beelzebub.

I’m just glad she never had to hear the words “cuckold” and “snowflake” used in the same sentence.

Or at least I hope she didn’t. That would have been an odd conversation back then.

Also, might I add, that I’m glad she never had to hear the President say almost every offensive word, at least once, on national TV.

She would whoop me for far less. Worse if It involved a fib!

Upon further rumination, it seems the President, and many others in charge, never had to go out and pick a switch, and got away with everything.

But they are in power and I punish myself for my shortcomings.

Then punish myself for punishing myself.
