The polls are now open!

We had a stimulating time at Storefront for Art and Architecture’s Critical Halloween that took place at the historic DCTV Firehouse this past Saturday! We’re opening up our week-long costume competition to award the “DEMOcratic People’s Choice” for best costume of the night.

This year, party-goers were given the challenge to creatively respond to the theme of “DEMO.” From acts of collective will (DEMOnstration) to institutional erasure (DEMOlition), DEMO invited guests to intellectually examine ideas, issues, and objects in art, architecture, and design related to the topic. Costumes varied from the very recognizable icons, like the fall of the Berlin Wall, to the wildly popular satirical #RenoirSucksatPainting protestors and quirky mashups like Salvador Dalí Parton (don’t ask).

You can vote for as many costumes as you’d like, but voting ends Friday, November 6, 2015 at 5pm EDT. We’ll be announcing the winner early next week.

Just select all of your favorite costumes and hit the VOTE button at the end of the post. To get a closer look at a costume, click each photo to enlarge.

Thank you to photographer [Yuko Torihara](http://www.yukotorihara.us/?ref=hyperallergic.com) for capturing the talented partygoers.
