**FUTURISM**

Said we were emptied out.

Said ours was wide-eyed worldliness lacking all restraint.

Time to summon legions nonpareil?

As desire’s sing-song jollities flood the laundered sheets.

With all your amenities surface-scratched.

Molto agitato. The dry acuity of an analytic wit.

And endless adagios!

Trying to traipse across the mind’s vertiginous shifts.
