The Museum of Modern Art wants to [use your home videos](http://hydeordie.com/post/45294639143/interesting-opportunity-to-put-your-work-in-moma?ref=hyperallergic.com) to decorate its storied lobby and atrium for its next PopRally party. The catch? The submissions have to be totally abstract, and just one minute long.

The museum recently launched an open call for videos “exploring abstract forms” to present along with its recent exhibitions [*Inventing Abstraction, 1910-1925*](http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/1291?ref=hyperallergic.com)and [*Abstract Generation: Now in Print*](http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/1342?ref=hyperallergic.com), both of which take on the heyday of Modernist abstraction in the early 20th century. The videos MoMA crowdsources will blanket the lobby in a haze of projected abstraction during an April 7 PopRally event featuring DJing by [Tamaryn](http://www.mexicansummer.com/shop/tamaryn-tender-new-signs/?ref=hyperallergic.com), a pioneer of dreamy pop music.

Those interested in participating should submit their videos through Vimeo, on PopRally Abstract’s event [group page](http://vimeo.com/groups/poprallyabstract?ref=hyperallergic.com), which also displays all the videos. Any kind of video is great, whether made with a camera, phone, or app (sadly, you’d need 10 Vines to fill the time quota). The deadline is April 1.

MoMA has already posted a few contributions from some of their favorite videos artists, including Jennifer Juniper Stratford and the New York City design studio EyeBodega. Check out their entries below, but don’t get too intimidated.
