Hyperallergic is happy to announce that we’ll once again be hosting a cocktail party in Miami next week, as part of the art world’s annual pilgrimage.

On Friday, December 6, from 6 to 8 pm, we invite you to join us at [Aqua Art Miami](http://www.aquaartmiami.com/?ref=hyperallergic.com) (1530 Collins Avenue, South Beach, FL) for evening cocktails, music, and [Perrier](http://perrierlovesmiami.com/?ref=hyperallergic.com). The party will be a chance to catch up with Hyperallergic editors and readers during the busy week, and to explore Aqua’s offerings from nearly 50 galleries, with a focus on emerging and mid-career artists.

Last year’s [Hyperallergic party in Miami](https://hyperallergic.com/photos-from-miami-artspace-hyperallergic-sunset-cocktails/) was a resounding success, and we expect the same this year. We’re very excited to learn that celebrated painter [Jonathan Grossmalerman](http://hyperallergic.com/author/guy-richards-smit/) has agreed to join us and and will be documenting the goings on in his own inimitable “hands-on” style that in no way opens us up to possible legal action. Dance and have your photo taken with legendary Painter. A guy so fun the Limelight had a dark VIP room “where you could go and not be bothered by anyone for a while” named after him.
