In the upcoming and final round of [*TAG*](http://engine.nectarads.com/r?e=eyJhdiI6NzA1NDEsImF0IjoyMCwiY20iOjEzOTAyMSwiY2giOjE5MzAsImNyIjo0MTY2NzMsImRtIjo0LCJmYyI6NTAzNTI4LCJmbCI6MjU4NDczLCJpcCI6IjU0LjIwNC4xMjkuMTQiLCJudyI6MjA3LCJwYyI6MCwicHIiOjE2NjYsInJ0IjoxLCJzdCI6MCwidXIiOiJodHRwOi8vd3d3LnNwYWNlc2dhbGxlcnkub3JnL3Byb2plY3QvdGFnIiwicmUiOjF9&s=3b-OFyRue4pv39CUcqlHaGo7yKk&ref=hyperallergic.com), Jess Hirsch (Minneapolis, MN) and Cassie Thornton (Oakland, CA) will work in adjacent studios over the course of four weeks. Both artists will develop their individual artworks separately during week one. After each of the next three weeks, the artists will switch back and forth to intervene in what the other has created — but they aren’t allowed to discuss their decisions with each other.

*TAG* tests the definition of collaboration and involves the audience through weekly “big reveal” events that punctuate the project’s evolution, including a psychological study and astrological consultation to predict how the artworks will unfold. Like a game of tag, there is no real competition or winner, just a playful yet demanding framework through which the artists’ unscripted dialogue changes over time.
