This week, Art.sy unveiled new social features that allow users to discover and share art and related content. In addition to Hyperallergic, you’ll find a number of familiar faces on Art.sy. From artist JR to curator John Elderield, from the venerable British Museum to the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, all aspects of the art world are represented.

What is Art.sy? It’s ambitious to say the least. According to their site, Art.sy is “a free platform where you can discover, learn about, and collect art. We believe that by bringing together art and science, Art.sy will foster new generations of art lovers, scholars, collectors, and patrons.”
