This Thursday at the [Morgan Library & Museum](https://www.themorgan.org/programs/le-conversazioni-films-my-life-7?ref=hyperallergic.com), artist [Julie Mehretu](https://hyperallergic.com/tag/julie-mehretu/) and author Jonathan Safran Foer will be in conversation to discuss the films that have inspired their lives and work. Mehretu is a MacArthur fellow and an award-winning artist known for her densely-layered paintings and prints. The discussion will be moderated by Antonio Monda, the Artistic Director of the [Le Conversazioni](http://www.leconversazioni.it/en/credits.html?ref=hyperallergic.com) literary festival. The cost is $20 for non-members, $15 for members, and free for students with valid ID.
