Does Hyperallergic have a paywall?
No. We believe in making our work accessible to the widest possible audience, therefore our articles are free for anyone to read.

Do you offer discounts for artists, students, and seniors on a limited budget?
Yes, if you are a student or working artist, you can join at a discounted rate here.

What are my payment options?

Are yearly and monthly memberships auto-renewing
Yes, memberships are auto-renewing, and can be cancelled anytime.

Is it easy to change or cancel my membership?
Yes. Members can sign in here to manage their subscription and cancel their membership. or contact us and we’ll take care of it. Yearly memberships are pre-paid, but automatic renewal can be changed or canceled allowing your membership to switch or expire when the current year of membership ends.

Is my membership or donation to Hyperallergic tax-deductible?
Hyperallergic is not a non-profit so memberships are not tax-deductible. Our membership program is designed to deepen our relationship with our readers through direct support of our journalism.
