# More Free Books: Getty Launches 250-Title Online Library

Following closely in the digital footsteps of the [University of California Press](https://hyperallergic.com/uc-press-makes-700-books-free-online-incl-important-art-titles/), the Getty Center in Los Angeles [announced yesterday](http://news.getty.edu/press-materials/press-releases/getty-publications-launches-virtual-library.htm?ref=hyperallergic.com) that they’ve made 250 of its art-related books, journals, and catalogues freely available online.

The titles, which represent a range of publishing output since 1966, can be searched by Imprint (Getty Conservation Institute, Getty Research Institute, or J. Paul Getty Museum), Publication Type, Subject Category, and Series.
