# Join a Multidisciplinary MFA Program in Studio Art and Design at the University of Louisville

The new MFA Building at the University of Louisville

The [MFA in Art and Design program ](http://bit.ly/2E0B3kz?ref=hyperallergic.com)at the University of Louisville is accepting applications for Fall 2019 admission. This three-year MFA program offers the following features:

**Intermedia and Multimedia Studies**: While students may pursue a single medium in depth, we encourage students to explore and combine various media in innovative and unique ways.

**Generous Financial Aid and Support**: We offer financial aid for all MFA students including scholarships or assistantships, and support for national and international travel and research.

**New MFA Studio Building**: The program has recently relocated to a new studio facility dedicated to MFA faculty and students. A private studio space is provided for each MFA student in this well-equipped new workspace.

**Rigorous Curriculum**: The program is small and selective to allow students generous access to faculty and resources. Each MFA student works with a faculty mentor. Our dedicated professors provide students with individual attention, support for individual directions, and challenge students to explore new avenues of artistic discovery.

**Excellent and Diverse Faculty**: Students study with faculty experienced in ceramics, drawing, fibers, glass, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, new media, installation, environmental art, and creative social practices.

**Vibrant Louisville Art Scene**: Students engage with the city’s vibrant art scene and interact with the wider arts community by participating in collaborations with local and regional arts and cultural institutions.
