Today in your dose of “WOW” factor, Viennese/Croatian design collective [Numen/For Use](http://www.numen.eu/?ref=hyperallergic.com) — which is comprised of Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler and Nikola Radeljković — create impressive webs in outdoor and indoor spaces using tape.

Fast Company immediately made the [association to Spider Man](http://www.fastcompany.com/1656197/designers-create-spiderman-worthy-cave-from-packing-tape?ref=hyperallergic.com) for these fantastical creations but I think they look like an incredible architectural experiment, like a wacky architect’s drawing come to life. The fact that they can be climbed into also makes them feel like a sci-fi form of furniture.

Imagine the potential to think that environments like this could eventually pop up at festivals and concerts as a chill-out space or playground for kids. Their ephemeral and malleable nature makes them a natural fit for any space.

For their installation inside [Odeon](http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Vienna%5F2010-09-29%5F-%5FOdeon%5F-%5Fsome%5Freading.jpg?ref=hyperallergic.com), the former Vienna stock exchange turned performance venue, the group used nearly 117,000 feet and 100 pounds of tape.
