# Occupy Vancouver Goes for the Art Cred

Occupy Vancouver has chosen to pitch their tents beside the Vancouver Art Gallery. Awesome! I’m sure it’s because they want to occasionally take leisurely strolls away from making folk signs and go for something more [high art](http://www.vanartgallery.bc.ca/the%5Fexhibitions/current%5Fexhibitions.html?ref=hyperallergic.com) … or, maybe it’s because of [this](http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/content/2010/07/08/High-Art-Another-Lame-Excuse-Move-Vancouver-Gallery?ref=hyperallergic.com).

Either way, I hope the VAG membership department gets out there and signs up some new members. Btw, Occupy-ers, the museum is pay-what-you-wish on Tuesdays after 5pm until 9pm.
