His wife, Aliénor (Christelle Prot Landman), who is also unhappy with their relationship, decides to tag along.

On their way to Rome, the couple meets two siblings: Goffredo (Ludovico Succio), an architecture student in search of a mentor, and Lavinia (Arianna Nastro), a young girl struggling with her imminent separation from her brother.

Their encounter prompts Aliénor to stay with Lavinia in order to help her deal with her brother’s departure. Aliénor also asks Alexandre to take Goffredo on his trip to Rome, to see one of the most extraordinary projects completed by Francesco Borromini: the Church of St. Yves of La Sapienza.

Opens Friday, March 20, at Lincoln Plaza Cinema, New York exclusive engagement.

A Q&A between director Eugéne Green and film writer Godfrey Cheshire of RogerEbert.com will follow the7:30pm screening of the film on Friday, March 20.An introduction by director Eugéne Green will precede the 9:40pm showing.
