Since March of 2019, Hyperallergic has offered this monthly resource for artists and creatives to share their work and find new opportunities. The arts and culture sector has since been severely impacted by the [COVID-19 crisis](https://hyperallergic.com/tag/covid-19/), making grants and paid opportunities for independent artists and cultural organizations more important than ever.

**Vermont Studio Center** 
**Residency Fellowships**  
Visual artists and writers are invited to apply for fully-funded residencies at Vermont Studio Center. Each includes a private room, private studio space, all meals, and full access to evening programs and events.

**Black Cube** 
**Impossible Sites**

**Critical Minded** 
**COVID-19 Relief Grants**  
Cultural critics from underrepresented communities who have published at least three pieces in English or Spanish since January 1, 2019, can apply for need-based, unrestricted relief grants of $500\. **Dias Art Prize**  
This newly founded biennial award for practicing artists under 35 provides three custom-made grants to fit the winners’ project proposals.

**Foundation for Contemporary Arts** 
**FCA Emergency Grants COVID-19 Fund**  
US-based experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions are eligible to apply for one-time grants of $1,500.

**NYFA** 
**Tri-State Relief Fund**

**The Ellies**  
Three categories of awards are intended to support Miami-Dade working and emerging artists, art educators, and established, professionally accomplished artists.

**Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati** 
**Please Hold**  
Please Hold invites teens and young adults ages 13–19 from across the globe to submit artwork for exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. Digital submissions are welcome.

**de Young Museum** 
**The de Young Open**  
This new open-submission exhibition at the museum will feature the work of Bay Area artists, who will be permitted to offer their exhibited work for sale and retain 100% of the proceeds.

**Rockefeller Center** 
**The Flag Project**  
New Yorkers and artists are invited to submit designs for the flags surrounding the rink at Rockefeller Center. The winners will be displayed alongside flags by Carmen Herrera, Faith Ringgold, Laurie Anderson, and more.

**SculptureCenter** 
**In Practice Open Call**  
Emerging artists can propose new work for inclusion in SculptureCenter’s annual In Practice group exhibition. Proposals should reflect new work to be realized for the exhibition.

## Residencies, Workshops, & Fellowships 

**Academy of American Poets** 
**Poetry Coalition Fellowship**  
This program will offer paid fellowship positions to five fellows per year, who will each assist a different Poetry Coalition organization. The organizations hosting this year’s Fellows are CantoMundo, Cave Canem, Kundiman, Mizna, and Split This Rock.

**Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute** 
**Curatorial Fellowship in Afro-Caribbean Art**  
CCCADI’s year-long fellowship for emerging curators of color committed to the artistic and cultural production of the Afro-Caribbean and its Diaspora is open for applications. The 10 Fellows accepted will receive a stipend.

**Governors Island** 
**Year-Round Arts, Educational, & Cultural Tenants**
