Those selected will explore new directions in glassmaking or expand on their current bodies of work while using the immense resources of the museum. There is a $30 application fee. Judged by writer, editor, and curator Natalie Hegert, the prize awards $3,000 to first place and $1,000 each to two runners-up. Three artists will be shortlisted. Artists must be Foundwork members to be considered ($6/month with the option to cancel after the three-month prize selection period).
