**Foundwork – 2026 Foundwork Artist Prize**  
The honoree will receive a $10,000 grant and studio visits with jurors Stefan Benchoam, François Ghebaly, Manuela Moscoso, Gabi Ngcobo, Esther Schipper. Three shortlisted artists will receive $1,000 grants.

**Gulf Coast Journal — Toni Beauchamp Prize in Critical Art Writing**  
Gulf Coast invites entries for the 2026 Toni Beauchamp Prize in Critical Art Writing. Win $3,000 for first place or $1,000 as a runner-up. This year’s judge is critic Andrew Berardini.

**CAA Publication Grants**  
The Millard Meiss Fund and Wyeth Foundation for American Art Grant support the publication of book-length scholarly manuscripts in the history of art, visual studies, and related subjects that have been accepted by a publisher on their merits but cannot be published in the most desirable form without a subsidy.

**Pedantic Arts — Pedantic Arts Residency + The Grant**  
Creatives and researchers are invited to apply to a 4-week Pittsburgh residency. Applications are also being accepted for The Grant, an opportunity that invites a visual artist, curator, or writer to conduct Pittsburgh-related research.

**Hamiltonian Artists and American University — Hamiltonian Teaching Artist Residency**  
A new Spring Semester Teaching Artist Residency offers practicing visual artists a paid MFA-level teaching post plus fully funded housing and studio space in Washington, DC.

**Harry Ransom Center – 2027–2028 Fellowships**  
The center will award up to 50 funded fellowships to support on-site archival projects across various disciplines at the University of Texas at Austin’s humanities research library and museum. Read more on Hyperallergic.

**Smithsonian American Art Museum — 2027–2028 Research Fellowships**  
Residential fellowships at SAAM support full-time, independent research on US art, craft, and visual culture. Appointments are available at graduate, predoctoral, postdoctoral, and senior levels.

**Vermont Studio Center — Open Call for Summer and Fall 2027 Sessions**  
Artists and writers are invited to apply for a Vermont Studio Center residency. Sessions run for two, three, and four weeks, and include resident presentations, open studios, and an acclaimed Visiting Artists & Writers program. $25 Application Fee

**American-Scandinavian Foundation: Fellowships for Americans – 2026/2027 Award Cycle**   
The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) offers long term (4-12 months) fellowships of up to $23,000 and short term (1-3 months) fellowships of up to $5,000 to individuals interested in pursuing research or creative-arts projects in the Nordic region.

**ARTS Southeast: ON::View Artist Residency: February — May, 2027**

**The Morgan Conservatory – Artist-in-Residence Program 2027**  
Explore papermaking, book arts, and letterpress printing at the nation’s largest center dedicated to these crafts. The residency offers emerging and established artists dedicated time, studio space, specialized equipment and a vibrant creative community.

**Queens Museum — 2027-28 QM-Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists**  
This one-year fellowship awards two visual artists $20,000 each, professional development and mentorship from QM staff and an NY-based artist, and a solo exhibition at the Queens Museum in 2028\.

**Simons Foundation — Open Interval: Turbulence**  
A collaborative program that supports artists, scientists and arts organizations to engage in creative exchange. Awardees receive $30,000 and nine months to explore together.

**Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York and Transmitter Gallery — TNT Residency**  
Apply for a 6-month fully funded studio in NYC culminating in a solo exhibition or open studio event. $250 honorarium and professional installation shots included. Priority given to underrepresented artists. $35 application fee.
