**Hyundai Motor Group** 
**VH Award for Emerging Asian Media Artists**  
Five shortlisted artists will each receive a $25,000 production grant and the opportunity to participate in online residency programs with Eyebeam. **516 Arts** 
**Fulcrum Fund COVID Relief Grants**  
New Mexico-based visual artists can apply for $1,000 grants to pay for essentials. Artist-run or alternative art spaces focused on visual arts can apply for grants of up to $5,000 to support their operations.

## Residencies, Workshops, & Fellowships

**John Michael Kohler Arts Center** 
**Arts/Industry**  
Residents explore the creative potential of industrial materials and techniques during three months spent at either the Kohler Co. Pottery or Foundry to develop work in ceramic, cast iron, and brass. **Velvetpark Media** 
**Summer/Fall Visual Arts Residency**  
The application is open to LGBTQ+ visual artists working in a variety of forms ranging from digital and new media to traditional mediums. The resident will be awarded a Brooklyn studio for six months to complete a project or series of works.

**Adobe** 
**Creative Residency**  
This program gives creative individuals the opportunity to explore their passion and process by focusing on a personal project for one year. Residents receive a full salary, health benefits, and more. Artists can also apply to [Adobe's Community Fund](https://www.adobe.com/about-adobe/creative-residency/community-fund.html?ref=hyperallergic.com) for the chance to receive grants or paid commissions of up to $5,000.

**Bethany Arts Community** 
**Fall 2021 Residencies**  
BAC offers 12-day residencies to emerging and established artists for the development of both new works and works in progress. Artists working across most disciplines are eligible to apply.

**Brown University Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America** 
**Spring 2022 Practitioner Fellows**  
Artists, media makers, and writers whose work focuses on race, ethnicity, and/or indigeneity in the US can apply for this virtual fellowship, which includes a $10,000 stipend plus up to $1,500 each in research/project funds.

**Fire Island Artist Residency** 
**Poetry and Visual Arts Residencies**  
Five emerging artists who identify as LGBTQ+ will share a live/work space in Cherry Grove, Fire Island, for a four-week program in which leaders in contemporary art provide mentorship and public lectures.

**James Gallery at CUNY** 
**Ethics and Labor in Art History Workshop**  
Art history graduate students can apply to join this two-day convening on the state of the field, employment conditions, and the ethical transgressions and future directions of the discipline. Participants will receive a $100 stipend.

**PEN America** 
**Emerging Voices Fellowship**  
Twelve fellows will receive an honorarium of $1,000 as part of a five-month immersive mentorship program for early-career writers from communities traditionally underrepresented in the publishing world.

**Studio Museum in Harlem** 
**Artist-in-Residence**  
Three emerging artists of African or Afro-Latinx descent working in any media will receive institutional guidance, professional development, research support, and a $20,000 stipend paid biweekly over the eleven-month residency.

## Exhibition & Writing Opportunities

**CUE Art Foundation** 
**2022 Solo Exhibition Open Call**  
Emerging and under-recognized artists will receive resources to present an exhibition at CUE in 2022, including a $5,000 honorarium, mentor support from an established artist or curator on the jury, and more.

**Grist** 
**Imagine 2200**  
Fix, Grist’s solutions lab, is looking to publish 12 climate-fiction short stories that envision the next 180 years of equitable climate progress by writers from anywhere in the world. $8,700 in prizes is available.

**Recess** 
**Session Open Call**
