# OWS Library Safe, According to NY Mayor's Office

Since this [morning’s raid of Zuccotti Park](http://gothamist.com/2011/11/15/nypd%5Fevicts%5Foccupy%5Fwall%5Fstreet%5Fclea.php?ref=hyperallergic.com), where the Occupy Wall Street movement began, there have been questions about the state of the movement’s 5,000+ book library, one of the biggest cultural symbols of OWS.

Now, the New York Mayor’s Office has tweeted an image of the library safely stored in a warehouse on 57th Street in Manhattan:
