In commemoration of National Library Week, Oxford University Press [is making freely available](http://global.oup.com/academic/librarians/national-library-week/?cc=us&lang=en&&ref=hyperallergic.com) the databases in its subscription-only online product catalogue. The offer, which runs through April 19th, includes access to the [Grove Art online](http://www.oxfordartonline.com/subscriber/;jsessionid=A1C5CF39C6E9A643B6CF104DF3539CA2?ref=hyperallergic.com) database, the Oxford Dictionaries (comprising the subscription-only [Oxford English Dictionary](http://public.oed.com/national-library-week-2014/?ref=hyperallergic.com), which is distinct from the “selfie”-[promulgating](http://blog.oxforddictionaries.com/press-releases/oxford-dictionaries-word-of-the-year-2013/?ref=hyperallergic.com) Oxford Dictionaries Online [service](http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us?ref=hyperallergic.com)), and a range of other resources and reference guides across the subject matters covered by the online academic imprint.

Access will be available April 13–19 under the login credentials “libraryweek” (this is both the username and password).

[National Library Week](http://www.ala.org/news/mediapresscenter/factsheets/nationallibraryweek?ref=hyperallergic.com), an initiative of the American Library Association, was launched in 1958.

**Update, 4/14*: Readers are reporting, and we have confirmed, that the free login is not functioning reliably. Oxford University Press* [*says*](https://twitter.com/OUPAcademic/status/455793792684392448?ref=hyperallergic.com) *they are working in it (demand has apparently overwhelmed their system).*
