Renowned portraitist and grandson of Sigmund Freud, [Lucian Freud](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucian%5FFreud?ref=hyperallergic.com) died yesterday. His paintings of Leigh Bowery are some of the most brilliant from the late 20th C. but this tidbit from his Wikipedia [profile](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucian%5FFreud?ref=hyperallergic.com) is pretty delicious:
