# Punch Me Panda by Nate Hill Starts Today

Panda's need internet connections too.

Starting today, artist Nate Hill will be performing his newest piece, “[Punch Me Panda](http://natehillisnuts.com/home/punch-me-panda/?ref=hyperallergic.com)” (2010) at [*#TheSocialGraph*](http://hyperallergic.com/thesocialgraph).

If you are in Brooklyn, you can text (347-742-2293) or tweet Hill ([@natexhill](http://twitter.com/natexhill?ref=hyperallergic.com)) to come to your home, where you can punch him for one penny.

This is the first-time the artist has performed in the context of a gallery show and a rare opportunity to see “Punch Me Panda” in his natural habitat. As Hill says in [his statement](http://natehillisnuts.com/home/punch-me-panda/?ref=hyperallergic.com) for the performance:

> Do you ever get so mad that you want to punch something? I’m here for you. My name is Punch Me Panda. Kidnapped from my family in China, I got mailed to the Bronx Zoo. Luckily, my crate got lost in the mail, and I ended up here in Brooklyn.

Serving individuals and couples, one-time basis or continuous.  
Serving all Brooklyn only.

When: Wednesday, November 17th to Saturday, November 20th. I’m sleeping in my shipping crate in a compassionate office space in Bushwick to stay cozy.
